After all, isn't that you chose to spend Spring Break in Destin? With 24 miles of sugar white sands and emerald green waters; you’d be a fool not to hit the beach. Laying on the sand, starting up a beach football or volleyball game, or surfing the waves are fun activities the whole family can enjoy! Spring Break can get crowded, so if you are looking for a quieter alternative, check out Henderson Beach State Park. There is a small fee per vehicle to get into the park, which helps keep the college kids away. The public restrooms and picnic pavilions makes it easy to spend the day!

You can rent a fishing, pontoon, powerboat or jet-skis and spend the day on the water. Visit Destin Vacation Boat Rentals for all your water adventures! Go fishing in the bay or the gulf, take the kids tubing, or pull up along the Gulf Islands National Seashore and spend a leisurely afternoon hunting for shells, hermit crabs, and other marine life. Note: Destin's infamous "Crab Island" is a loud party area, not particularly family friendly.

Feed the live alligators at Fudpucker’s Gator Beach in Destin. See over 80 live alligators, in an up close and personal environment. A portion of the proceeds from the gator food sales is donated to the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, a local non-profit wildlife protection organization. It’s easy, it’s safe, and above all it’s fun for the entire family.
